Mistake 1: Buying clothes to accumulate discounts
Many offers that at first seem like bargains, in the end, they only make you lose money. We talk about discounts with a minimum purchase or those in which for five garments they give you one.
In the end, you end up buying things you don't need for the discount to be applied and losing money.
Mistake 2: Letting go of impulses
Before you go shopping, take a good look at what you have in the closet and what you need. If you don't do it, you will end up buying things you don't need.
Mistake 3: Buying trends that you will never wear
Each person has a particular style and, although you want to follow the trends, do not forget to adapt them to your style. Wear the clothes with which you feel identified.
Although the 80s style is worn, the metallic colors or the low-heeled sandals are trends. The best thing is that if you decide to buy something, it is a garment or accessory that you know 100% sure you will wear without any qualms.
Mistake 4: Not buying basic
There are clothes and accessories that, although not so lowered, are very worthwhile: the basic ones.
One mistake we make is buying a lot of clothes and not to focus on buying basics. A white dress, a black top, flat sandals, or a raffia bag are essentials because they will possibly accompany us several consecutive summers.
Mistake 5: Buying only the clothes that the celebs wear
The 'celebrities' and 'influencers' are our main style icons. However, not everything fits everyone. So, before buying a garment that you have seen from your favorite 'celeb,' try it on, make sure it looks good on you, follow your style, and have the opportunity to wear it.
Mistake 6: buying clothes just for the offer
When you go shopping and find an ultra discounted garment, think, 'Would I buy it if it wasn't on sale?' If the answer is yes, go ahead. If the answer is no, no matter how much discount you have, you will be losing money.
