Description

Made out of polyethylene terephthalate, better known as PET, one of the most commonly used plastics for the production of drinking containers and textiles. We collect this material from dumps that will otherwise burn it, or throw it into the sea, and we transform it into lightweight, resistant and extremely flexible glasses.

Our Rubber Hybrid Collection combines two of our newest material, our processed HDPE plastic and our recycled rubber from tires. The 2019 collection offers both sophisticated designs and chic sunglasses such as the oversized style, CAYUCO, which seamlessly represents the bohemian spirit of this year?s campaign. The vibrant tone colors of this season?s sunglasses like the blue or the solid tortoise coincide perfectly with the beautiful Parafina?s aesthetic. Our Bamboo Hybrid Collection is the result of supporting our environment. Sustainable forest requires that the bamboo population be systematically ?pruned,? Without pruning, dense areas of bamboo forest become malnourished and weak. At Parafina we offer a sustainable solution by covering the ost of transporting, processing and utilizing the bamboo wood for various high-end consumer uses in cities, such as the Parafina Bamboo Hybrid Collection.-
